The company's range of Progressive Cavity Pumps are increasingly finding their way into processes where waste material from food production must removed and disposed of quickly, efficiently. The positive displacement action of its wide throat WH range is suitable for use with bulky materials, such as animal by-products, brewery and fruit and vegetable waste. The  rotary action generates pressure at any speed and does not require centrifugal force or high rotational speeds to operate effectively. This also eliminated large changes in the velocity of pumped materials minimizes any agitation and turbulence and provides a constant flow.
The Widethroat WH range pump incorporates and enlarged inlethopper and screw feed that pushes the waste material into the pumping element. Optional features include large diameter augers, integral bridge breakers, or both, which allow the pumps to handle dry solids (approaching 40% dry solid material).
The wide throat WH range models can be used with a Muncher to provide an efficient and integrated macerating and pumping waste processing system.
